Henderson Raising Awareness

Dear Parents and Carers, 

On Tuesday 10th October as a school we will be inviting children to wear their yellow P.E tops or a yellow t-shirt with regular uniform to help raise awareness for World Mental Health Day. Mental health is something we take very seriously and we incorporate a lot of work around wellbeing throughout each academic year through our curriculum. 

In addition to this we will be raising awareness to Just One Tree on Friday 13th October. 

On this day, we will be uniting with schools across the world to join in with this global campaign.  Children will be invited to wear non-uniform for a donation of £1. For every £1 we raise as a school 1 tree will be planted into the world. Last year, as a trust we managed to raise £531.
