    End of Year Message,


    As we come to the end of another school year and look forward to the summer break, I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and partnership. Your dedication to your children's education and well-being has been wonderful to see.


    This year has been filled with numerous accomplishments and memorable moments. From academic achievements to extracurricular successes, our pupils have shown incredible growth and resilience. These milestones would not have been possible without your encouragement and involvement.


    As we prepare for the summer holidays, I encourage you to take this time to relax and enjoy quality moments with your children. Summer is a wonderful opportunity for them to explore new interests, develop new skills, and spend time with family and friends. Whether it's through reading a good book, exploring nature, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these experiences will contribute significantly to their overall development and well-being.


    We said goodbye to Mrs Keal and Mr Nicholson and wish them all the very best for their future adventures.


    We are already planning for the new school year and look forward to welcoming our pupils back on the 4th September, refreshed and ready for new challenges and opportunities.


    I will be returning as Acting Headteacher in September so I look forward to welcoming you all back to Henderson Green.

     I want to emphasise the importance of regular attendance. Consistent attendance is crucial for your child's success and social development.

    Year 2 - The Whole class - for working hard, learning to manage behaviours effectively and being amazing.


    Year 3 - The Whole Class - for dealing with challenges, being resilient and always trying your best.


    Year 4 - The whole class - for being an amazing class, working hard, being good friends and always trying you best.


    Year 5 - The Whole Class - for your problem solving attitudes, good cooperation and inquisitive nature. Thank you for all your hard work.


    Year 6 - The Whole Class - for having an amazing year, working hard towards your SATs, showing strength and resilient when facing challenges and working well as a group.

    As you prepare to leave our primary school and embark on the exciting journey to secondary school, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to each of you. This is a significant milestone, and we are incredibly proud of all you have achieved during your time here.


    You have grown, learned, and blossomed in so many ways, and it has been a joy to watch you develop into the remarkable individuals you are today. As you move on to new challenges and opportunities in secondary school, remember to carry with you the values, friendships, and lessons you have gained.


    Believe in yourselves, stay curious, and never stop striving for excellence. I am confident that you will continue to shine and make everyone proud.

    Take part in the Summer Reading Challenge!


    Don’t have a library card? The easiest way for families to join is online. A couple of clicks and the

    whole family can become library members. You don’t even have to provide proof of address because

    the Library Service will send your library cards in the post.
