    Ms Andrewes

    Acting Headteacher

    Mr Harding

    Deputy Headteacher

    Welcome,

The children have all enjoyed this week especially Wednesday when we had our whole school transition day. Pupils enjoyed the usual singing assembly before spending the day in their new class with their new teacher.

    Staffing update

We will be saying goodbye to Mrs Keal and Mr Nicholson as they leave Henderson Green at the end of this term. We wish them all the very best for their future adventures. Thank you both for your hard work and support.

We welcome to our school Mr Spencer , who will be teaching Year 3, Miss Saunders, who will be teaching Year 4 and Miss O'Brien, who will be teaching Year 6. We are pleased to have them join our teaching team and welcome them to our community.

    School Day in September

In September the school day will run from 8.30 - 3.25pm. The school gates will be opened as usual at 8.30am every morning and closed at 8.40am. It is very important that all children arrived to school during this time and enter through the school gates. If you arrive after 8.40am then you need to go to the office to sign your child in. Any late arrivals will be recorded and discussed if frequent.

The day will end at 3.25pm and teachers will release the children from the classroom door, as usual.

A reminder that we have increased the school day by 10 minutes to reflect the additional week added to the October half term. Please see the academic calendar on our school website.

If you have any questions then please speak to a member of the senior leadership team.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Ms Andrewes
