KS2 Reading Sessions - Autumn Term 2

Reading Sessions

Dear parents and carers, 

Following the success of our KS1 reading sessions last half term, we would like to invite parents to join in with our KS2 reading sessions this half term. This will be an exciting opportunity for you to take part in a reading focus workshop with your child and class teacher.

The activities in key stage 2 will range from information gathering, inference and deduction, art and craft as well as simply reading for pleasure with your child.

We know that reading is a vital component of a child’s education and we would love for you to be part of it. 

These sessions will begin at 2.30pm and finish at the end of the school day. 

Please find the date below of your child’s session: 

EYFS/KS1 Reading Sessions Every Tuesday 2.45pm

Monday 6th November  - Year 3 Reading Session 2.30pm

Wednesday 8th November - KS2 Reading Workshop 2.30pm

Friday 10th November - Phonics EYFS/KS1 Workshop 2.30pm

Monday 13th November - Year 6 Reading Session 2.30pm

Tuesday 14th November - Rocket Reading Session 2.30pm

Thursday 16th November - Year 5 Reading Session 2.30pm

Thursday 30th November - Year 4 Reading Session 2.30pm
